Counseling and Advising

One of the many advantages of Yuma Catholic is our knowledgeable Counseling and Advising department. All students receive one-on-one advising while attending YC and if students are struggling with coursework at any time the Counseling and Advising department coordinates a Student Success program designed to support students academically as needed. Also, as students prepare for their Junior and Senior years, they have the opportunity to take part in a variety of workshops, classes, and individual meetings to support their success on the ACT, SAT, college applications, and FAFSA forms. Perhaps most significantly, the Counseling and Advising department works with YC Seniors to develop, revise, and submit scholarship applications and essays, which earns several million dollars in scholarship monies for each YC graduating class.
