School Liaison Services for Military Families

The MCAS Yuma and the YPG School Liaisons specialize in creating connectivity between the military, families, school systems and the community to assist with the unique challenges military children face including:  school transition, deployments, and differences in curriculum between stateside and overseas schools.   School Liaisons also work in partnership with local schools to enhance the educational  experience for military school aged children K-12 along with advising military parents on education issues. 

What can the School Liaison do for you?

1. Help communicate with principals, teachers or other school personnel.
2. Help parents in making their child’s educational transition a smooth one to and from Yuma. 
3. Help empower parents with valuable educational information, giving them a choice in their child’s educational future.
